ECO/Environment Coast & Offshore Magazine provides comprehensive coverage and analysis of issues affecting the coastal and offshore environment field. Published nine times a year, this beautifully organized magazine highlights five key environmental areas: science, technology, economics, regulatory/policy, and healthy, security, safety, and the environment (HSSE). Each issue offers insight on these topics through a mix of articles, analytics, and news from around the globe and we are proud to be a part of their publication.
The May 2016 issue of ECO Magazine includes an eight page spread written by Sea to Shore Alliance staff about marine debris, how it can threaten marine life, and what our Healthy Habitats and Oceans program (H2O) is doing to tackle the problem. The story, which begins on page 34 with a striking photograph of a manatee surrounded by litter, emphasizes the importance of the program, the mobile classroom we are working to complete, and the motivation behind combining classroom education with our already-popular beach cleanups around the state.
