Join us for an 8-day expedition to Cuba with S2S executive director and international manatee expert Dr. James ‘Buddy’ Powell. You’ll meet our team of Cuban marine scientists and learn firsthand about what’s going on in manatee conservation in Cuba. Dedicated snorkel/dive days will enable you to explore pristine marine environments and a coral reef park while assessing the health of the area. As well, you’ll have time to enjoy the colorful culture and take in the sights of Old Havana… and let’s not forget the fantastic cuisine! You’ll visit places tourists have not been allowed to visit with our special travel license.
Trip costs include round trip airfare from Tampa/Havana, all ground transportation within Cuba, all hotels (3 and 4 star) with full breakfast, most meals in Cuba, all entrances fees, gratuities, and one or more professional English speaking guides.
